- Powder and granules entry:
- Enter empty chamber via paddle stirring in forced feeder
- Over powder filling when lower punch reaches lowest point of filling cam track
- Dosing process:
- Lower punch passes dosing cam track, gradually raises to push redundant powder out
- Paddle stirring inside feeder aids in compressing powder during dosing
- Scraping and cover plate:
- Scraper plate of powder scraping device scrapes redundant powder and granules from die's upper surface
- Cover plate prevents powder ejection from die bores
- Lower punch protect cam track:
- Lower punch descends 2mm before die bore moves out of cover plate, reducing powder height to prevent ejection due to high linear speed
- Compacting process:
- Upper punch enters die bore step by step and compacts powder inside
- Lower and upper punches form compound die
- Tablet compression and discharging:
- Tooling passes pre-roller and main roller, completing compound movement
- Passes discharging cam track, where upper punch raises and lower punch pushes out compressed tablet
- Completion:
- Tablet enters discharging device, completing one tablet compression procedure
