Zeatin is a natural plant cytokinins (CKs) found in higher plants. It was originally found and isolated from young corn cobs. Later, the substance and its derivatives were also found in coconut milk. . As a plant growth regulator, it not only promotes the growth of lateral buds, stimulates cell differentiation (lateral advantage), and promotes the germination of callus and seeds. It can also prevent leaf senescence, reverse toxin damage to the buds and inhibit excessive root formation. High concentration of zeatin can also produce adventitious bud differentiation.
Zeatin has cis and trans isomers in structure. The trans-isomer has strong biological activity, and the cis-isomer has weaker activity. Trans Zeatin activates its function by highly binding with receptors, including Arabidopsis histidine kinase (AHK). The combination of AHK3 receptor and trans-zeatin plays an important role in regulating plant metabolism.

The main function of anti-zeatin:
1.Promote the germination of callus (to be used with auxin), the concentration is 1ppm.
2.Promote fruit setting, zeatin 100ppm + gibberellin 500ppm + acetic acid 20ppm, spray fruit 10, 25, 40 days after flowering.
3.For leafy vegetables, spraying at 20ppm can delay the yellowing of leaves. In addition, some crop seed treatments can promote germination; seedling stage treatments can promote growth.
Application:
(1) Promote the germination of callus (beard and auxin are used together), the concentration is 1ppm.
(2) Promote fruit setting, zeatin 100ppm+GA3 500ppm+NAA20ppm, spray fruit 10, 25, 40 days after flowering.
(3) Delay the yellowing of the leaves of vegetables, spray with 20ppm.
