Polynaphthalene Sulfonate, also known as naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensates (SNF), are a class of high-range water reducers widely used in the concrete industry. The primary active ingredient in Polynaphthalene Sulfonate is naphthalene sulfonate, a compound derived from naphthalene, an aromatic hydrocarbon. The molecular structure of SNF is characterized by its ability to adsorb onto cement particles, imparting a strong negative charge on their surfaces. This electrostatic repulsion between particles prevents flocculation, allowing the cement particles to remain well-dispersed within the mix.

Liquid products are packaged in 200kg plastic barrels, or 1000kg and 1150kg IBC barrels. For storage, this concrete additive needs to be stored in a special warehouse to ensure a ventilated and dry environment. Its shelf life is two years.
