The piston assembly is the main component of the fluid end of the mud pump. The discharge pressure of the mud pump is generated by the reciprocating linear motion of the piston assembly in the cylinder liner.
Small piston - high pressure, small flow; large piston - low pressure, large flow. Metric pumps and inch pumps use metric and inch pistons correspondingly. Generally, Φ170, Φ160, Φ150 and 6″, 6-1/2″, 7″, etc. are commonly used. The piston rubber material is mainly nitrile rubber and polyurethane, which can meet different customer requirements.
