Since July 2020, two HODE Power emergency standby gensets have been on standby to ensure that the Charité campus of the Charité University Hospital North in Berlin continues to operate normally even in the event of a utility power outage. The gensets are based on Power C2250D5E diesel engines with a combined power output of approximately 1,650 KW and can be up and running in less than 10 seconds. HODE Power provides turnkey systems as well as diesel generator sets, which include cooling, fuel and exhaust systems, air supply and extraction systems, and control systems.
