Description:
Ruthenium, a hard and lustrous white metal, boasts a notable density of 12.30 g/cm³. It melts at a remarkable 2310°C and boils at 3900°C. Renowned for its catalytic prowess, ruthenium excels in hydrogenation, isomerization, oxidation, and reforming reactions. Although pure ruthenium has limited applications, it is an exceptional hardener for platinum and palladium, ideal for crafting robust electrical contact alloys and enhancing hard grinding carbide.
Alloy target preparation process flow: Meticulously start with material preparation, followed by vacuum induction melting. Conduct precise chemical analysis, then proceed with rolling and annealing. Undergo metallographic examination and machining. Perform dimensional inspection before cleaning. Conclude with final inspection, then package and ship with care.
