Description
As a result of Calcium cored wire special structure, many well-know steel making plant proves that, the Calcium cored wire's calcium yield can be up to 24-28%, while Ca-Fe cored wire only 11% around, and the Pure Calcium cored wire is only 1/2 wire weight of Ca-Fe cored wire's. Therefore, the calcium cored wire is the ideal substitute of Ca-Fe cored wire and Calcium granuels cored wire.
Core wire technology is a new treatment in secondary steelmaking developed in recent years, alloy core wire can purify the molten steel, change the inclusion form, improve the cast ability of the importantly, it will increase the yield of alloy, cut down the cost and consumption.
The calcium iron cored wire functions as the deoxidizer and the desulfurizer in the process of steel-smelting production, mainly applied to cold heading steel, pipe line steel, and other low-silicon steel types. Its core power material is metal calcium and pure iron powder. Its deoxidized outcome - CaO is also mingled and combined with Al2O3 system in the liquid steel to generate 7 Al2O3.12CaO sinter of low-melting point, thus to avoid the effect of nozzle blockage arising from condensation of casting nozzle mingled with Al2O3 system, so as to ensure a smooth continuous casting production. The desulfurized outcome floats upwards very easily to be removed, so as to enhance the plasticity and tenacity of steel. The annual output of this product is more than 4,000t, and the annual production value is more than RMB50 million.
