APPLICATION
PWL1200 is specially applied in profiling wheelset and brake disc detached from railway/subway/light rail vehicles. As wheelsets can go through the portal as a machining flow line, portal structure is the best solution when high productivity is required.
The main performance characteristics:
- Based on WZ series CNC horizontal lathes and CR51 series CNC vertical machining center, PWL1200 wheelset turning lathe adopts the latest technologies of mechanic, electrical and hydraulic international advanced level. The portal structure of the machine enables wheelset to roll through machine as a processing flow line.
- The machine is of portal structure, consisting of column, crossrail, saddle, tool carriage, headstock, i lifting device, auto material conveyor, track, hydraulic system and electrical control system. The machine adopts SIEMENS 840DSL CNC system control, and has function such as :
A, Delivery in/out of wheelset automatically
B, Lifting-up and centering
C, Measurement of Flange height, thickness and diameter
D, Data processing
E, Automatic processing
F, Final inspection
G, Result printout and enter data into control computer
The whole process can automatically complete. With the man-machine interaction software, the operation can select different profiles. After processing cycle finished, the machine will print out the result as the format confirmed by the user.
