The LG9000 water-based adhesive from Shanghai Languan New Building Materials Co., Ltd. is meticulously crafted for floor decoration materials that demand superior elasticity and robust curing properties, making it an ideal choice for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This versatile adhesive shines as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, and demonstrates exceptional adaptability as a gap-filling, pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent.
On non-absorbent substrates, this adhesive showcases its remarkable efficiency by allowing flooring installation within 20-50 minutes post-application. It delivers enduring adhesion with formidable peel and shear strength, quick curing, and impressive curing strength. To ensure optimal performance, the substrate must be solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. For challenging surfaces like uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, pre-treating with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is recommended to avert any possibility of substrate debonding.
For a flawless wood flooring installation, it is advisable to employ a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive applications. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain precision. The open time should be meticulously determined based on adhesive quantity, climatic conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive is primed for action when it begins to form strings, signaling the optimal time to proceed.
When using this adhesive for the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, or LVT flooring, it is recommended to use a B1 notched trowel, with a notched bar replacement every 100 square meters to ensure consistency. Begin installing the flooring as soon as the adhesive starts forming strings, ensuring that it firmly adheres to the floor and transfers effectively to the back of the flooring. During installation, roll the entire surface with a roller, using a cork board to press the edges and corners for a seamless finish. Ensure the entire surface is flat and free of dead spots for complete bonding with the adhesive. Repeat rolling after 20 minutes for optimal results. Adherence to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan is essential for achieving the best outcomes.
