Active infrared touchless sensors use the emission and reception of infrared beams to detect the presence and/or movement of objects or people in their field of detection. The technology is ideal for applications requiring a long and narrow detection range.
Infrared Sensor Applications
The infrared sensor is widely used in public washrooms, such as touchless faucets, automatic urinal flusher, automatic toilet flusher and automatic soap dispenser. The infrared sensors can be also used for touchless kitchen faucets and bathroom faucets. Although they are still optional in homes today. But eventually in the future, they will become a simple commonality for modern homes. Rajeyn infrared sensors are widely used in automatic sanitary ware, such as touchless faucets, automatic urinal flusher and toilet flush valve.
The sensor eye is widely used for automatic water taps and automatic urinal flush valves as well as toilet flush systems.
For sensor faucets, when your hands in the sensor range, water automatically comes out. When your hands remove from the sensor range, water automatically stops.
When a person stands in the sensing area (before usage), the urinal flusher will auto flush for 2 seconds; 2 seconds after the person leaves, the urinal flusher will automatically flush for about 6 seconds. However, the urinal flusher only flushes ONCE if used continuously over 2 times within 1 minute.

The most popular types are 4-pin waterproof wire connecting with control box for sensor taps and 2-pin as well as DC type waterproof wires for sensor urinal and sensor toilets.
