Function
1. Anti-cancer
Formononetin has anti-cancer effects and can prevent and treat breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. Formononetin can effectively inhibit the proliferation of many different breast cancer cells, thereby playing an anti-tumor role.
2. Estrogen-like effects
Formononetin has estrogen-like effects because its structure is similar to diethylstilbestrol. High doses of formononetin have estrogen-like effects in the body and have certain safety for the reproductive system.
