Protection relays
Numerical relays are based on the use of microprocessors. The first numerical relays were released in 1985.A big difference between conventional electromechanical and static relays is how the relays are wired. Electromechanical and static relays have fixed wiring and the setting is manual. Numeric relays, on the other hand, are programmable relays where the characteristics and behavior can be programmed. Most numerical relays are also multifunctional.

Generator and interconnection protection REG615 IEC
The 615 series has been redesigned from scratch with the aim of unleashing the full potential of the IEC 61850 standard in communication and interoperability between substation automation equipment. Once the standard configuration relay is assigned specific application settings, it can be directly put into use.
The generator protection relay provides main protection for small generators. Generator protection relays are also used as backup protection for medium-sized generators in power applications, which require independent redundant protection systems. Interconnected protection relays provide main protection, meet grid specifications, and connect distributed generation to the grid.
