Slightly soluble in water, the solubility in cold water is greater than that in hot water. It can be used to make ceramics, catalysts, etc. Commonly used raw materials for lithium-ion batteries.
Lithium carbonate can be used for lithium compounds and enamel, glass manufacturing, is the raw material for lithium compounds and lithiummetal, can be used as aluminum smelting electrolytic bath additives. It is widely used in glass, ceramics, medicine, food and other industries, as well as in synthetic rubber, dyes, semiconductors, defense industry, television, atomic energy, medicine, catalysts and so on. Used for making acoustic and optical single crystals. It can also be used to treat manic psychosis and make sedatives.
Battery grade lithium carbonate is mainly used to prepare lithium cobaltate, lithium manganate, ternary materials and lithium iron phosphate and other lithium ion battery cathode materials.
High purity lithium carbonate is mainly used in the preparation of high-end lithium ion battery cathode materials and battery grade lithiumfluoride. In terms of photoelectric information, high purity lithium carbonate is used to prepare lithium tantalate and lithium niobate. At the same time, high purity lithium carbonate is also used in optical special glass, magnetic material industry, super capacitor, medicine industry, etc.

In August of 2008, the first-stage extension project was finished and put into use. The construction of chemical-reaction system for the acid station, strontium , and manganese chloride and strontium chloride production line was accomplished, which enabled the company to produce 10,000 tons products annually.
In October of 2008, company acquired the title of "Second-level Safety Production Standardization.
In October of 2010, the second-stage extension project was finished and put into use. The systematic construction of strontium chloride crystallization and strontium chloride anhydrous production line was accomplished, which enabled the company to produce 18,000 tons products annually.
In March of 2011, the technical improvement for the strontium production line was completed. The annual capacity reached 20,000 tons.
