The installation method of insulation nails is as follows:
.1.Material preparation
*Insulation nails: According to the thickness of insulation materials and wall types, select insulation nails of appropriate specifications. For example, for thicker insulation materials, longer insulation nails should be selected.
*Tools: Prepare an impact drill (used for drilling holes in walls), a screwdriver or a special installation tool for insulation nails, etc.
2.Base treatment
*The wall surface should be flat, dry, and clean, free of oil stains, dust, and loose substances. If there are uneven areas on the wall surface, leveling treatment is required to ensure that the insulation nails can be firmly fixed on the wall.
3.location
*According to the size and design requirements of the insulation board, determine the installation position of the insulation nail on the wall. Generally speaking, insulation nails should be evenly distributed on the insulation board, and the spacing should comply with relevant standards or design regulations. For example, when the wall area is large, the horizontal and vertical spacing of insulation nails can be set to 300 - 600mm.
4.Drilling
*Use an impact drill to drill holes at the positioning points. The depth of the drilling should be slightly greater than the anchoring length of the insulation nail. For example, if the length of the anchoring part of the insulation nail is 50mm, the drilling depth can be controlled at 55 - 60mm. The diameter of the drilling should match the outer diameter of the insulation nail to ensure that the insulation nail can be tightly inserted into the hole.
5.Insert insulation nails.
*Insert the insulation nails into the drilled holes. For insulation nails with discs, the discs should be closely attached to the surface of the insulation board. Ensure that the insulation nails are inserted vertically into the holes to avoid inclination, otherwise it will affect their fixing effect.
6.Fix the insulation nails.
*If it is a plastic insulation nail, a screwdriver can be used to screw it into the wall until the disc is in close contact with the insulation board. For metal insulation nails, some are anchored in the wall by knocking or using special tools. During the fixing process, pay attention to applying force evenly to avoid damaging the insulation board or loosening the insulation nail.
