What Materials Do We Use for Flash Cards?
We use heavy-weight paper to make flash cards. This kind of paper is thicker than normal writing paper and is stiff and robust like cardboard. It has a coated surface for printing on and we can also finish it with varnish, lamination, and other techniques as you wish. These are the most common paper types we use for flash cards (C1S is cover paper, coated on one side only):
250 gsm / 92 lb gloss or matte art paper
300 gsm / 110 lb gloss or matte art paper
350 gsm / 129 lb gloss art paper
250 gsm / 92 lb C1S paper
300 gsm / 110 lb C1S paper
350 gsm / 129 lb C1S paper
two sheets of 250 gsm / 92 lb C1S paper 300 gsm / 110 lb C1S paper or 350 gsm / 129 lb C1S paper glued together
If the flashcards are designed for infants, we advise you to choose a thicker paper option as the result will be more robust-and chew-resistant! Two sheets of 250 gsm / 92 lb C1S paper glued together is a good choice. If you need over 100 cards in a single deck, then 300 gsm / 110 lb art paper or 250 gsm / 92 lb C1S paper are better, as they'll stop the deck from becoming too bulky to be practical. It's also worth considering varnishing or laminating both sides of the cards to extend their useful life and minimize wear and tear.

1) Q: When can I get the quotation for my inquiry?
A: Usually the quotation will be sent to you within one working day upon all the details of products being clear. If something is urgent, we can quote you within 2 hours based on all the details you provide.
2) Q: How long is the mass production time?
A: Normally 20-30 days. Rush orders are available.
3) Q: Can I get a sample before mass production?
A: Of course! The normal production progress is that we will make the pre-production sample for your quality evaluation. The mass production will be started after we get your confirmation on this sample.
4) Q: How long can I get this sample?
A : After receiving the sample charge and all the material & design being confirmed, the sample time is 6-7 days and Express delivery usually needs around 3-5 days.
5) Q: Is the sample charge can be refundable?
A: Yes, normally the sample charge can be refundable when you confirm the mass production, but for the specific situation. Please contact the people who are following up on your order.
6) Q: what kind of paper can be printed on?
A: Artpaper gives the best performance of color and design. We also can provide other special paper like black cards, white cards, offset paper PU leather, etc.
