Regulating Valve Series
Control valves are usually composed of two parts: an electric actuator or a pneumatic actuator, and the valve body. Linear motion types mainly include the straight-through single-seated type and the straight-through double-seated type. The latter features high flow capacity, low unbalanced forces, and stable operation, making it particularly suitable for applications with large flow rates, high pressure drops, and minimal leakage.
Control valves are classified according to their purpose, function, main parameters, pressure, medium, operating temperature, special applications (i.e., special-purpose valves), driving energy, and structure. According to the driving method, they can be divided into four major series: electric control valves, pneumatic control valves, self-operated control valves, and Cv3000 control valves. They are further categorized based on their purpose and function.
1. Two-way valve: Mainly used for shutting off or connecting the medium.
2. Control valve: Mainly used for regulating the system. When selecting a valve, it is necessary to determine the flow characteristic of the control valve.
3. Diverting valve: Used for distributing or mixing the medium.
4. Shut-off valve: Usually refers to a valve with a leakage rate less than one hundred thousandth.
