03F3 SO3 Mist Filter is used to remove the oleum mist in the SO3 gas before sulfonation.
After SO3 gas is cooled by 01E3 SO3 cooler, the gas will contain a small amount of oleum mist, which will react quickly with organic materials, resulting in poor product color and generation of by-products (such as dioxane), these acid mist must be removed before entering the sulfonator.
03F3 is a steel tank with glass fiber filter elements inside, and the shell material is carbon steel. SO3 gas enters from the outside of the filter elements and is filtered and passed from the inside of the elements.
