Polyester fibre is a synthetic fibre made from oil and natural gas through a special process. There are three precautions to take when washing: wash in cold or warm water, do not wring; dry in the shade, do not expose to the sun to avoid wrinkles; iron with a damp cloth, the temperature should not be too high, dark garments are best ironed on the reverse side.
Soak in cold water for 15 minutes, then wash with a general synthetic detergent at a temperature not exceeding 45°C. The mouth and cuffs can be scrubbed with a brush. After washing, rinse clean and wring lightly, place in a cool, ventilated place to dry without exposure to the sun and not to bake a thousand, so as not to wrinkle due to heat.
The cotton fabric is alkaline resistant, but not acid resistant, and has good resistance to high temperatures. It can be soaked in water for a few minutes before washing, but not for too long to avoid damaging the colour. Underwear should not be soaked in hot water as this will cause the proteins in the sweat stains to solidify and adhere to the garment, and will cause yellow sweat spots to appear. When washing with detergent, the best water temperature is 4050°C.
When rinsing, you can master the "little and many" method, i.e. each rinse does not necessarily use a lot of water; however, it should be washed several times. After each rinse, wring out and rinse a second time to improve washing efficiency. You should dry your clothes in a cool, ventilated place to avoid fading of coloured fabrics in the sun.
Hemp fibres are stiff and have poor holding power, so wash them lighter than cotton fabrics. Do not twist after washing, do not use hot water for coloured fabrics and do not expose them to the sun to avoid fading.
