The role of plate in plate heat exchanger industry, plate heat exchanger plate is a key component of plate heat exchanger, the plate of plate heat exchanger is a special plate used in plate heat exchanger to isolate medium and exchange heat. It is an important part of plate heat exchanger.
Materials : stainless steel SUS304.316, titanium and titanium palladium Ti, Ti-pd, 20Cr, 18Ni, 6Mo 254SMO, alloy C276, copper H68 and so on.
Characteristic of a plate
Plates are made from 0,5 to 1,0 mm thick of corrosion-resistant material: AISI 316 steel at the request of AISI 304, SMO, Hasterloy (heat resisting alloys on the basis of nickel) the titan, etc. Material of a plate is chosen proceeding from scope of the lamellar heatexchange device and conditions of its operation. The plate has openings for pass of the environment and distribution on channels. At an entrance on a plate the heat carrier comes to a distributive zone which allows to distribute evenly liquid and to avoid "dead zones" on a plate. Between the top and lower zones, the surface of heat exchange of a plate which has the corrugated surface allowing to create a turbulent stream and to intensify heat exchange process is located.
