Tilmicosin 100mg.

Pharmacological Action:
Pharmacodynamics
Tilmicosin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic for animals. Strong against mycoplasma, antibacterial effect is similar to Tylosin, sensitive gram-positive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelas suis, Listeria Special bacteria, Clostridium putrefaction, Clostridium emphysema, etc. Sensitive gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus, meningococcus, and Pasteurella. It has stronger activity on Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma of livestock and poultry than tylosin. 95% of Pasteurella hemolyticus strains are sensitive to this product.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration, it is quickly absorbed, characterized by strong tissue penetration and large volume of distribution (greater than 2 L/kg). The concentration in the lung is high, the elimination half-life can reach 1 to 2 days, and the effective blood concentration is maintained for a long time.

Drug Interactions:
(1) The combination of this product and epinephrine can increase the death of pigs.
(2) It has the same target of action as other macrolides and lincosamides, so they should not be used at the same time.
(3) Combined use with β-lactams shows antagonism.

Indications:
Macrolide antibiotics. For the treatment of swine pleuropneumonia Actinobacillus, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma infections.

Dosage & Administration:
As this product.
Pigs: Mixed feeding, 2000~4000g per 1000kg of feed. Continuous use for 15 days.

Adverse Reactions: 
(1) The toxic effect of this product on animals is mainly the cardiovascular system, which can cause tachycardia and weakened contractility.
(2) Dose-dependent gastrointestinal disorders, such as vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, often occur in animals after oral administration.

Precautions:
Tilmicosin is irritating to the eyes and can cause allergic reactions. Avoid direct contact.

Withdrawal Period:
Pigs: 14 days.
