TONY pellet machine converts biomass feed stock into pellet fuel by mechanical extrusion. The process consists of feeding the raw material to the compression system, where it is compressed under high pressure and temperature, and then cooling to improve the hardness and stability of the particles. The core structure of the equipment includes frame, motor, press roller, ring mold, electric heating ring and other components.
Some models adopt vertical centrifugal ring mold design, combining the advantages of traditional flat mold and ring mold to improve the pelleting efficiency. The control system can adjust parameters such as temperature and pressure to ensure particle quality and yield
The ring die of TONY pellet machine is vertical double layer, the upper and lower two layers are dual-use, improve the utilization rate, reduce the cost and improve the efficiency. Automatic timing oil lubrication is safer and more reliable.

1. Chipping Process:The raw material used to make wood pellets must be broken to a small size, and pellet machine users typically use a wood chipper to cut the wood into pieces 2.5 cm (0.98 in) or smaller
2. Crushing Process:Using a hammer mill, smaller pieces are crushed and cut into very small particles, reducing the size of the raw material to 5 mm (0.20 in). Some users will choose the pre-treated sawdust and can skip this step.
3. Drying Process:Drying the raw material to the proper moisture content is essential for the manufacture of high quality particles. Before granulation, it is necessary to ensure that the water content of the raw material is about 10%-15%. For a small batch of particles, the raw material can be left in the sun for at least 24 hours to dry naturally; For larger batches, a dryer can be used to dry the raw material to the desired moisture content.
4.Pelleting  Process:The most commonly used equipment for granulation is the pellet machine. TONY's new 304 stainless steel vertical ring die pellet machine is extruded by ring die and press roll, the raw material is squeezed into the ring die hole to form, and constantly extruded to the outer end. When pelleting, it is necessary to ensure the uniform feed to prevent the blocking caused by too fast feed.
5. Cooling  Process:When the molding particles leave the pellet machine, the particles themselves will be hot and release water vapor, so they must be cooled and dried, which can make them harder.
6. Packing  Process:Once the particles are cooled, they are transported to a packaging facility, packed and stored in a dry place.
