Artificial quartz (not to be confused with Quartzite, another appealing natural stoneused as counters) is a manmade product created mostly from natural materials. It's made of 90 to 94 percent ground quartz and 6 to 10 percent resins and pigments that are combined into durable and nonporous slabs.
Artificial Quartz stone is a non-radioactive, recyclable environmentally friendly, green new building interior decoration material. The products are widely used in public buildings such as kitchen, stairs, floor tiles , etc and home decoration



Raw Material
Quartz sand and powder aggregates is the major filler, although other material like coloured glass, shells, metals, or mirrors might be added. A typical resin based material will consist of 93% stone aggregates by weight and 7% resin (66% quartz and 34% resin by volume) . Different types of resins are used by different manufacturers. Epoxy and polyester resin are the most common types. Chemicals such as UV absorbers and stabilizers are added. To aid curing, hydrogen peroxide is added.

Tenical information

LM series continous automatic grinding machine is used in process of artificial quartz stone slab.  There is 4 / 12 / 16 / 20 heads difference size machine, and there is 1m / 1.7m/ 1.9m most width grinding difference desinged.  The max lift range of the machine head is 100mm, which allows 50mm thickness of plate at most.  The machine have been optimized and upgraded on based on combining domestic and foreign advanced technology, which enhances its lading position in the field.
LX thickness calibrating machine is designed for the process fo calibrate thickness before polishing artificial quartz stone. There are three size- 4 ends, 6 ends, 8 ends. It can process three width type quartz stone: 1m, 1.7m, 1.9m.
