Introduction to UPS (Uninterruptible Power System)
UPS (Uninterruptible Power System) is a type of uninterruptible power supply that consists of an energy storage device and an inverter as its main components. It provides constant voltage and frequency power supply for electronic devices, such as computers, computer networks, and other electronic equipment. When the input power is normal, UPS stabilizes the voltage and supplies it to the load, while charging the internal battery. In the event of a power outage or other interruption, UPS immediately switches to the internal battery, which is converted into 220V AC power through the inverter and supplied to the load. This ensures that the load continues to function normally and is protected from damage caused by sudden shutdown. UPS equipment typically provides protection against both high and low voltage.
