APPLICATION
UGL series of lathe is specially designed for reprofiling wheels, flanges, and disc brakes of wheelsets of urban vehicles. The unique design of the underfloor lathe allows the possibility of completing all the machining operations in situ without disassembling any part from the vehicle, including those with internal or external bearing boxes.
WZ attaches great importance to machine reliability, and therefore all components are sourced from reputable and reliable suppliers.
The machine is solid in structure and easy to maintain.
The main performance characteristics:
- The unique design of the underfloor lathe allows the possibility of completing all the machining operator with high efficiency and high accuracy in situ without disassembling any part from the vehicle. The machine consists of bed, track system, toolhead, measuring device, clamping system of wheelset axle box, axial, control device, hydraulic system and CNC system;
- According to measuring result, machining parameter and cutting amount could be input automatically manually. Two sets of such machines could combine into a tandem underfloor wheelset lathe to realize wheelsets of the same bogie simultaneously;
- The machine is designed for the maintenance of wheelsets of modern railway vehicles. Turning to flange and tread of wheelset can be carried out without disassembly of wheelset bearing.
