1.Overview
Hough section and socket Hough section (pipeline plugging device) are pipeline repair devices, of which, the latter one is for water leakage in bellmouth at the connection of two pipes, and the former one is for other positions except as bellmouth, which only consists of two bodies and two rubber blankets, and repairs the pipeline by docking the two bodies and tightening nuts in leakage; and it can not only save the time of water shutdown but also reduce the repair cost.
2.Product performance
1.The product employs moulding and elasto-plastic contact seal and applies to all textures of pipeline, effectively control media leakage.
2.With a good field service effect, it is watertight and has a quick construction speed in no need of water shutdown using the partitioned organization, and operation is only under an excavation of small working pit, saving a large number of manpower, material resources and time and quickly achieving leaking stoppage.
3.The product is under the working pressure of 0.25 - 1.0Mpa, and applies to maintenance of water leakage for cast iron, cement and PVC pipes. It has a complete specification and applies to all kinds of international diameters, and non-standard pipes can be customized.

3.Mechanical performance
Hough section sealing ring belongs to the field of pipeline rushing repair technology, which specially includes sealing rings set on both sides, and they are equipped with the first and second sealing strip contacting with their ends, of which,the position of the first sealing strip symmetrical to the central axis of sealing ring is different from that of the second, also namely the two sealing strips are in asymmetry regarding the central axis. Such setting way makes the first sealing strip not (completely) leaned against the second when mounting oppositely, and the cooperation of sealing strips and Hough section enclosure achieves its sealing effectiveness, thus greatly improving the high-pressure and water hammer resistance of Hough section and ensuring its sealing performance.
