FUNCTION

 

1). Robust and powerful
TM-281A / TM-481A are strong enough for field operations: It meets the stringent standards of anti-vibration and anti-vibration in MIL-STD 810 C, D, E, F and G formulated by the US Department of Defense. TM-281A output power is up to 65 watts, TM-481A output power is up to 45 wattshigh/low output power can be selected.

 

2). LCD display
The clear amber LCD display can be controlled with 32 levels of brightness, making it suitable for any ambient lighting conditions. It can display up to 6 large alphanumeric characters. It can also light up the front panel keyboard for easy use.

 

3). 200 channels
Up to 6 alphanumeric characters (each channel) can be used to identify up to 100 memory channels. (When the memory naming function is not used, there are 200 available channels.) Each memory channel can be used to store the transmit and receive frequencies separately. The memory data can also be edited and stored on the computer.

 

4). Multiple scan modes
The standard modes are VFO scan, memory scan, call scan, audio/CTCSS scan and DCS scan-with TO (timed operation), CO (carrier operation) and search scan restart mode. It is also possible to check the priority channel every 3 seconds through priority scanning.

 

5). CTCSS and DCS
The built-in CTCSS and DCS encoder/decoder cover 42 CTCSS sub-tone frequencies and 104 DCS sub-tone frequencies.

1.Q: Why sometimes your partner's voice is intermittent?
   A: Please note that you are within normal communication range, If you want use radio in distance range, please change other antenna with a bigger output power.If still same problem,please send the radio back to your authorized dealer repair.

2.Q: Can't turn on talky and even it is switch on, it often shuts off automatically?
   A: Please check the battery contacts on the walkie talkie. If it is broken or twisted, please return the radio to your authorized
dealer for maintenance during warranty.

3.Q: Can't transmit or receiver signal with other members?
   A: First, please verify that the channel frequency and the CTCSS you are used the same as those of your group members.
Please make sure that you and your partners are all withinthe radio coverage, If the channel frequency and the CTCSS
are the same.

4.Q: Why sometimes received voice from other groups?
   A: Two way solutions.You can change another channel or change another channel frequency by PC software.

5. Q: Which is better -VHF or UHF?
    A: epends on the terrain. The UHF signal is attenuated or absorbed by foliage, rough terrain and trees, VHF does better
outdoors. The VHF has difficulties penetrating steel and concrete, UHF does better in and around buildings. If you use
the radios in both environments, we prefer using UHF band.
