Tower Vertical Lift Type (PCX)
Tower Vertical Lift Type car parking equipment, also known as tower-type parking equipment, achieves vehicle storage and retrieval through the lifting and transverse movement mechanism installed on the lifting platform, serving as a mechanical parking system.The vertical lift type garage operates on a principle similar to that of an elevator, with parking spaces arranged on both sides of the lifting platform. Generally, a car turntable is installed on the ground level to eliminate the need for drivers to maneuver their vehicles. Vertical lift type garages are typically tall (up to several tens of meters), demanding high equipment safety, precision in manufacturing and installation, hence resulting in higher costs. However, they occupy the smallest footprint among parking systems
Operating principle
Vehicles or parking boards are lifted to the designated level by the lifting mechanism, and then moved into the parking space using the transverse movement mechanism installed on the lifting platform. Conversely, vehicles or parking boards stored in designated parking spaces are moved into the lifting mechanism by the transverse movement mechanism. The lifting mechanism descends to the vehicle entrance/exit, allowing drivers to open their doors and drive away
