- Choose suitable impression foam according to the patient's ear canal, put in the first corner, then push impression foam lightly and gradually.
- Put the impression at 2-3mm behind second corner.
Several Attentions You Need to Remember
1. Before using the impression sponge, first carefully check the eardrum and ear canal. Do not place impression foam if obvious features such as tympanic membrane or ear canal injury are noted.
2. Be sure to clean the ear canal and cut the hair. If it is not clean enough, there is earwax, and the impression will be delayed or slow to set.
3. Hands must be steady while filling the impression foam.
