Y and YR series Large -Sized 3-phase Asynchronous Motors.
Series Y and YR Large -Sized 3-phase asynchronous Motors (center height 710-1000mm) is the latest products of 90's in our coporation, its power degree, installation size and electric performance complies with requirements in the standard IEC, "Rating and performance of Rotating Electric Machine "GB755 and" Basic Technigue Conditions for Large-sized Three-phase Asynchronies Motor"GB/13957-95. This serial product can substitute the old products designed in"Technique conditions for large-sized three-phase asynchronies motor" JB2223-77 and increase the capacity equal to 10kv motor.
This new serial motor is compact in strutre, high in efficency, excellent in insulation performance and easy in installation and maintenance. The rated frequency is 50HZ, F class insulation,. The type of installation is horizontal with foot (IMB3),S1 continues indufy, 6000v or 10000v rated voltage.
The motor is designed in box-type structure. It is light in weight, good in rigidity and easy in installation, maintenance and repairing.
The Y&YR series motors are the basic, the protection degree of which is IP23 IP44(duct ventilation ). It can be modified to be as YSK and YRSK series motors through changing it protection shield or cover plate into other different top covers or cover plates to be mounted at one side of the frame, and also be diverted into other series motors.
The motor stator is designed in the structure of extemal pressed installing and treated with vacuum pressure impregnation or integrate impregnation. Which make the windings possess of excellent capacity both in insulation and damp proof, The rotor is of welded ribs structure, The rotor winding of Y series motor is made of copper stripe, while that of the YR series is made of copper bar wrapped with insulation material in class F.
The motor is equipped with sliding bearing, the lubricating oil of which is designed according to the requirements of IP54 protection degree.The main terminal box is IP54 in protection degree and its lead-inlet generally located at the bottom of the box.
The special-purpose motor should be contacted with the manufactory before ordering such as: transmission, blowing machine, coal grinding machine, hoist engine and rolling mill. It is necessary to reach a technical agreements in adopting special design for ensuring on the reliable running of electric machine.

Information on ordering:
The attention should be paid to the type, power, rotation direction, protection degree, cooling mode, special condition and service requirement for fitting machine of motor on ordering.
There are six PT100 resistance thermometers embedded in stator windings of motor, every bearing is with a PT100 resistance thermometer.
One heater is mounted on the frame.
The efficiency, power, max, torque times, torque times of rotor-block, current of rotor-block listed in the table are guaranteed value.
The weight of motor is only for reference. Please see the outline drawing.
The terminal box with the leading-out wire U1, V1, W1 of motor is kept on the right side of the frame viewing from main extension. The terminal box with leading-out neutral wire U2, V2, W2 is kept on the left side of the frame.
Terminal voltage of Y series motor should be not less than 85% rated value in the course of starting. Moment of oforonerty for mechanism to be transported are those machines such as : the water pump and blowing, etc. Meanwhile, when moment of inertia(J) for equipment to be driven doesn't exceed the value in item of listed in the table, it is allowed to start twice continually at actual state (it should be stopped by itself between two starts after switch-off), or to do bot-state start once after rated running. The additional start should be done after one hour' stop of motor.
When moment of inertia of transmission mechanism of Y series motor exceed J(load) value listed in the table or has a requirement of frequently stating, please contact with manufacturer in advance for special order, in order for the reliable running.
The motor is not allowed to bear the external axial force and radial force beside coupling weight on snatt extension. When motor is used as transmission mechanism connected with elastic coupling, the limited device on the shaft be mounted, allowable axial play should be decided by the agreement with the manufacturer.
