 Anti-Bacteria Chitosan Fiber from Shrimp and Crab Shell Chitosan
 
Chitosan Fiber is a fiber derived from chitin, a fibrous substance found in the exoskeletons of crabs,lobsters, shrimp and other shellfish. It boasts a number of important medicinal properties and biomedical applications.

Research suggests that chitosan can accelerate wound healing and eliminate scar tissue.One study found that chitosan prevented scar tissue formation on rats that underwent surgery.

Chitosan's blood-clotting properties also make it an excellent addition to medical bandages. In 2013, the International Journal of Advanced Biotechnology and Research published a study that examined the healing properties of chitosan bandages on small cuts and burns on rats. The rats' wounds healed quickly when treated with chitosan, which actively reduced blood loss and induced faster healing .
Another study found that chitosan effectively treated and healed diabetic ulcers-with no side effects-in study participants.

5. Chitosan fiber has good spinnability and can be blended with cotton, wool, viscose and other fibers in different proportions to form yarns.
