The pressure of the calendering roller on the paper is controlled by the pressing and lifting device, so that the paper is calendered to improve the quality of the paper.
The calenders that are often done are: two rolls,three rolls, five rolls,six rolls (rarely), and more are generally super calenders (multiple rolls)
The width of the hard calender is usually from 1092-4800mm, and the maximum speed is 300m/min
Hard calenders are divided into in-line,oblique and horizontal,and the most common is in-line.
