Beijing Automobile Works (BAW) was established in 1951. It is the second large-scale automobile manufacturing enterprise in the new China. BAW has now developed into a large-scale enterprise group integrating the design, research and development, production, sales and service of complete automobiles, powertrain assemblies and key components. Headquartered in Qingdao, it is the only fully-qualified vehicle manufacturing headquartered enterprise in Shandong Province that owns traditional and new energy cars, off-road vehicles, trucks, light buses, modified vehicles and military vehicles.
