Suzhou Ekona Technology Material Co., Ltd, located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province in China, is the earliest enterprise of producing talc powder, Inorganic powders, inorganic flame retardants and flame retardant masterbatch products. It owns two mines and 0.9 squares kilometers mining area, with proved reserves more than 50 million tons, producing high quality 325 to 6000 mesh talc products and inorganic flame retardant more than 10 thousand tons every year. Ekona has built good relationship with customers all over the world and exports products to more than 20 countries. Ekona committed to new product research and development and application of new technology, follow the market development, and establish a market-oriented approach to development. In 2009, Ekona produced halogen free flame retardant and modified magnesium hydroxide, In 2010, Ekona developed a new type talcum powder, used in polypropylene, can significantly improve the impact strength of PP. In 2015, Ekona imported Germany′s high-pressure jet mill machine, which can produce 10000 mesh talcum powder, successfully realizing the import substitution. In 2018, master batch equipments were set to meet the requirements of our customers. In 2021, Ekona developed another two production lines for the flame retardant Materbatch production. Currently the main business of Ekona include Flame retardant fireproof material, flame retardant masterbatch, talc powder masterbatch, magnesium hydroxide masterbatch, and Talc powder, magnesium hydroxide, barium sulfate, kaolin, magnesium oxide, etcThey are widely used in blown film, blown molding, injection molding, hollowing, casting, wiredrawing, sheets producs and so on.
